Codie Winslow is the Chief Deputy for the Douglas County Office of Clerk and Recorder. In her role, Codie oversees the daily operations of the county’s Elections, Motor Vehicle, and Recording Divisions and a staff just over 100 employees. During her six years with the office, Codie has been instrumental in creating, implementing, and strengthening a dynamic workplace culture whose Vision: To be leaders in customer satisfaction, employee empowerment, and to serve with integrity; Mission: To serve all citizens and each other with respect, courtesy, transparency, and professionalism; and Core Values: Growth & Development, Adaptability, Ownership, Integrity, Communication, Equity; have created a reputation for outstanding customer service and innovative government operations in the Office of Clerk and Recorder.
Codie has degrees in writing and education, and 12 years of experience working for K-12 and higher education institutions prior to her current role. She enjoys spending time with her family, serving on the Leadership Douglas County Alumni Committee, and also recently published her first book, LIVE IT OUT - Hope.
