Equine Partnership Program is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Elizabeth, CO. We provide Equine - Assisted Mental Health Services and Psychotherapy to individuals and groups. Our program specializes in providing individual equine-assisted psychotherapy sessions, skill-based life skills training to inner city school groups, trauma focused psychotherapy to women veterans, and hands-on equine assisted learning for seniors with dementia. We also give horses no longer suitable for their original purpose a new “career” by training them to be therapy horses.
Equine Partnership Program (EPP) was founded on September 26, 2006 by Lee Dudley. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Lee saw that therapy provided solely in an office setting wasn’t yielding positive results or emotionally corrective experiences for her clients. We take traditional psychotherapy sessions out of the office in a unique approach that utilizes horses to achieve incredible results. Our therapists and horses are committed to being catalysts for personal growth and healing traumatic emotional wounds. Our mission through Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is to support our clients on their personal journey toward healing and a better future.
