Under general direction of the Asset Program Manager, this position supports the development and maintenance of information systems, including but not limited to GIS, Budget, Asset Management, databases and record engineering data sets for the water, wastewater, and storm water utilities. This position provides department-specific GIS and asset management data to coordinate and integrate with data maintained by the IT/GIS division and other departments. Performs duties in a manner consistent with the shared values of the Town.
Qualifications generally include a Bachelor's degree related to GIS, Geography, Planning, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field; supplemented by 1 to 3 years practical and relevant experience with asset management systems, geodatabases, ArcGIS, GPS surveying, database development and design; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Successful candidate must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check prior to commencing employment.
