The Town of Castle Rock has an excellent opportunity for a Building Inspections Supervisor in our Development Services department. Under general supervision, supervises Building Inspectors and handles difficult situations with Building Division customers. Ensures compliance with requirements of adopted building codes, plans, specifications and Town of Castle Rock ordinances. Performs duties in a manner consistent with the stated values of the organization.
Qualifications generally include a high school diploma with some trade school related to construction; supplemented with 2 - 5 years of progressively responsible construction experience, including two years of supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination. An ICC Combination Building Inspector certification is required. An ICC Commercial Plans Examiner Certification and ICC Certified Building Official certification are preferred or ability to obtain certification within 1 year of employment is desired. A valid Colorado driver's license is preferred for accessing inspection sites.
