About Us: Schotime Dance Center, recently awarded the '2024 Best of the Best Dance Studio in Castle Rock,' is a rapidly growing studio that has been inspiring young dancers in Castle Rock for just a year and a half. We are dedicated to creating a positive and enriching environment for our students, cultivating their love for dance and helping them grow both artistically and personally.
Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic dance teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will love teaching dance to ALL ages and levels and have experience in a variety of dance styles and levels. We are also looking for part time front desk employees and admin opportunities as well who don't have to know dance, just excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Teach dance classes to young students, ensuring a fun and engaging environment.
- Plan and execute lesson plans that align with Schotime Dance Center's curriculum and goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and class updates.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience teaching dance to young children.
- Proficiency in a variety of dance styles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Passionate about dance and working with children.
-Willingness to have a background check completed.
-Willingness to undergo paid First-Aid and CPR training if not already certified.
